Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. Kanpur Mandi Bhav: In the open market on Monday, the prices of most of the commodities in wholesale trade were recorded with stable to slight fluctuations. In Galla Mandi, the prices of wheat, barley, jowar and millet remained at the previous level, while among pulses, a softening was seen in arhar and gram. There was also a slight decline in the prices of pulses.
The prices of rice, flour and semolina remained normal. In the oilseed and edible oil market, a slight decline was recorded in mustard oil, while linseed and egg oil remained stable. There was no major change in the prices of jaggery and sugar. In the bullion market, gold remained strong, while silver declined. According to traders, the demand remains normal and the arrivals in the market are balanced, due to which the possibility of major fluctuations in prices is less at present.
