Dialogue Associate, Sambalpur. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the spirit of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat is very important to achieve the goal of a developed India by the year 2047. He said this at the closing ceremony of Marwar Mahotsav-2025 being held in Sambalpur in collaboration with Rajasthan Foundation and Khetrajpur Marwari Yuva Manch.

Speaking on the occasion, Lok Sabha Speaker Birla said that the Marwari community has made a huge contribution in building the country through its efforts. Along with trade and industry, the Marwari community also has a huge contribution in education, health and welfare of the people. The Marwari community blends easily into the local culture while remaining true to its roots and values.

Birla asked the youth to stay connected to their roots and traditions while moving forward on the path of modern progress. He proudly said that Marwari Mahotsav is not just a gathering of a community, but a platform that strengthens the resolve of One India, Best India.

Marwar Mahotsav is being held on the theme “Ek Bharat – Shrestha Bharat”, which reflects the spirit of national unity and cultural harmony. On the occasion, Birla also interacted with members of the Rajasthani community living in the area and recalled the rich cultural heritage of Odisha.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Education Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan also addressed the gathering. Odisha government ministers, MLAs and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
