Taking cognizance of the circulated video, the police immediately investigated and took action and the flag turned out to be religious. Now the police are talking about identifying those spreading false rumors and taking action.
Police said they will investigate and take action against those spreading lies
A video went viral on internet media on Sunday. When information was sought regarding the video being broadcast, it was said to be from Kurra village. In the video, the flag installed on the roof of a house is said to be Pakistani. There was a sensation after the video was broadcast. The police took immediate cognizance of the video circulated and investigated.
Inspector Kurra Vikrant Singh Gurjar reached the village and informed the people that a Muslim youth working as a bellman in Bhind had this flag installed on the roof of his house which is Islamic. During interrogation, the young man told that the Imam had distributed flags to the children on Baravafat and his son had also brought a flag and put it on the terrace. After this, the police started searching for the person spreading false rumors by circulating the video.
Kurra Inspector said that those spreading false rumors and spoiling the atmosphere are being identified. Soon strict action will be taken against such people.
