Jagran correspondent, Bijnor. Gangster action has been taken against 10 accused in the case of kidnapping and extortion of comedian Mushtaq Khan and Sunil Pal. A case has been registered on behalf of the city Kotwal. All the accused are out of jail on bail.
Cine actor Mustaq Khan was abducted from Mumbai on 20 November 2024 in the name of an event. A recovery of Rs 2.20 lakh was made by keeping him at a house of gang leader Sushant alias Lavi in Nai Basti. A case regarding this incident was registered on behalf of Mushtaq in the city police station.
The same gang had kidnapped comedian Sunilpal on December 2, 2024 and extorted money from him. The case was filed on behalf of Sunil Pal in Lalkurti police station of Meerut district. Bijnor police exposed the matter and arrested nine accused and sent them to jail. Meerut Police had taken action against one accused.

In this case, city Kotwal Rampratap said that all the 10 accused involved in the incident have been charged as gangsters. These include Sushant alias Lavi alias Himanshu and Akash Gola, residents of Nai Basti b-14, Sarthak Choudhary alias Ricky, resident of Rammu's intersection, Bijnor, Ankit Pahari, resident of Ram's intersection, Arjun Karnawal, resident of Bulla's intersection, Azim Ahmed, resident of Mohalla Kaswaban, Sabuddin alias Saibi, resident of Mohalla Ajarjan, Shivam and Shiva, resident of Chamarpeda, Nai Basti and Shashank, resident of Janakpur in district Ghaziabad. The station in-charge said that action has been taken against all the above mentioned gangsters.
