Mandawar Chairman accused of rape, demand for justice from SP
Jagran Correspondent, Bijnor: A woman resident of the civic area has complained to the SP, accusing the Chairman of Mandawar Nagar Panchayat of rape. The woman alleges that the chairman repeatedly raped her after promising to marry her during the Corona period. On the other hand, the Chairman has called the allegations baseless.
A woman gave a complaint letter in the SP office on Monday and said that she is from a poor family. The wife of the Chairman of Mandawar Nagar Panchayat had died during the Corona period, after which he came in contact with her. The chairman is accused of promising marriage and having physical relations with her. The accused chairman sexually exploited her for two years. Now the accused stopped talking to him and also threatened him. Tried to contact the Chairman several times, but he maintained distance. On the other hand, in the matter, Chairman of Mandawar Nagar Panchayat Mohammad Asif alias Shaan said that he has never met the woman who complained nor does he know her. The allegations leveled against him are baseless. Such allegations have been made under conspiracy. SP Abhishek Jha has ordered an investigation.
