Samvad Sutra, Birsinghpur (Sultanpur). Twenty bighas of farmers' crops were drowned and destroyed when the track of Sabai Minor passing through the area got cut in Moukdih village on Wednesday night. Farmers came to know about the sinking of crops on Friday morning. He informed the officials of the Irrigation Department about the matter. The workers reached the spot and stopped the water by damming the minor, then the farmers heaved a sigh of relief.

All the farmers including farmers Karamchand Maurya, Rajesh Maurya, Ram Jiyavan, Sitaram, Ashok Vimala told that due to the negligence of the canal department, our crops get drowned and destroyed every year. Despite repeated information and calls, the officials do not pay attention to this.

Virendra Yadav, Junior Engineer of the Irrigation Department, said that information about crop drowning has been received by the farmers over phone. Arrangements have been made to tie the canal.
