The District Magistrate has suspended the BLO accused of collecting Form 7 to strike off the names of 200 voters at a booth in village Aminabad alias Badagaon of Kithore assembly constituency, on the basis of investigation by the ERO (Electoral Registration Officer) of the concerned assembly constituency.

In this case, a video was made viral by the villagers displaying these Form 7. On which the Chief Electoral Officer of the state had sought a reply from the district administration.

The District Magistrate said that in the investigation, the BLO has been found accused of obtaining such a large number of Forms 7 without informing the higher officials, gathering a crowd of people at the booth and corrupting the election process. Information about this investigation and action has been sent to the Chief Electoral Officer. On Monday, the villagers of this village reached the booth and created a ruckus. Whose video was broadcast. In the video circulated, he had shown a large number of forms filled in the name of a person and had alleged that the BLO had received a large number of these forms from a person named Manveer.

It is written in the form that the said people do not reside in the village. While everyone is in the village. In the video, the villagers are also claiming to lodge a report against this in the police station. On this video, a letter was issued to the district administration from the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of the state and an investigation was ordered. District Magistrate Dr. VK Singh said that an investigation was conducted in this matter by the Electoral Registration Officer of Kithore Assembly, ACM Rashmi Kumari. According to the investigation report, Zafar Ali, assistant teacher of BLO Primary School, posted at booth number 79 of village Aminabad alias Badagaon, collected more than 200 Form VII by gathering a crowd of people at the booth.

According to the guidelines of the Election Commission, such a large number of forms cannot be received from a single person. He did not even give this information to the ERO and AERO of his assembly constituency. He corrupted the election process. The District Magistrate said that the said BLO has been suspended and another BLO has been posted there. Information about this action has also been sent to the Chief Electoral Officer.
