Jagran correspondent, Agra. The young man who had gone to Rajasthan lost his mobile phone. After this, Rs 13.52 lakh were withdrawn from his bank account several times. It is alleged that even after getting the bank account held, the money kept getting deducted. The victim has filed a case in the cyber police station.

Investigation has revealed that the victim's mobile phone was not locked, due to which it was used by miscreants. Police is collecting details of the people to whom the money has been transferred.

Bhupendra Singh, resident of Nagla Kharga village of Etmadpur, has said in the case filed that he had gone to Gogamedi, Rajasthan with his family on August 25. While returning from there on August 27, the mobile phone was lost. The SIM number in the mobile was linked to bank accounts and Aadhar card. On 28th and 29th August, Rs 5,000 each were transferred through UPI.

After getting the information, he went to the Canara Bank branch located at Rahankalan and gave the information and got the bank accounts put on hold. Despite this, money kept getting deducted from the account. When I went to the bank on September 1, I came to know that Rs 13.52 lakh had been deducted from the account several times.

Debit card was closed instead of account in the bank branch. Cyber ​​police station has registered a case on Bhupendra's complaint. Inspector Rita Yadav said that the victim's mobile phone was not locked. The e-mail was also open, details of those to whom the money has been transferred are being collected.
