Jagran correspondent, Moradabad. On Monday morning, there was a decrease in melting and chill as compared to before the sun rose. The minimum temperature was 7 degrees Celsius. As the effect of fog subsided, life seemed to be back on track. Due to the opening of schools from Monday, the hustle and bustle and crowd on the roads increased. Vehicles were seen moving smoothly and visibility was good.
Relief from sunshine, drizzle will increase cold in next three days
According to weather experts, there is a possibility of light drizzle between January 22 and 24. Due to this, the temperature may fall again and the effect of winter will increase. However, despite the effects of cold for a day or two after the drizzle, the weather is expected to remain clear, which may provide relief to people.
Diseases may increase due to temperature fluctuations
Dense fog at night and rising temperatures during the day can have adverse effects on the body. In such weather, there is a possibility of increase in cold, cough, fever, sore throat and respiratory problems. The elderly, children and those with pre-existing medical conditions need to take special precautions. It is being advised to wear warm clothes in the morning and evening and avoid cold wind.

The weather was miserable on Sunday
Earlier in the early hours of Sunday, there was dense fog in many areas including Kanth Road, Delhi Road, Sambhal Road, Rampur Road. Visibility reduced to about 50 meters, due to which the drivers had to face a lot of trouble. At many places, drivers were seen driving slowly with headlights and indicators on. Due to fog and melting, the glass of vehicles became fogged, due to which the front view could not be seen clearly. Workers coming for work from rural areas also reached the city late in the morning. Normal life remained affected due to fog and cold.
People were hiding in their homes due to drop in temperature
As soon as the sun set after around 5 pm on Sunday evening, the temperature started falling and people were forced to hide in their homes again. However, there was some relief due to sunshine in the afternoon. People were seen sunbathing on rooftops, parks and roads. According to weather experts, there will be cold and thaw in the morning and evening. Have to resort to bonfire and room heater. Light fog was also seen on Sunday evening, which once again increased the effect of cold.
