Digital Desk, New Delhi. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said on Sunday that India remains steadfast amid global instability and geopolitical challenges. He said that these challenges cannot affect the country because of the 'invincible security wall named Narendra Modi'.
Addressing the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) organized for Kutch and Saurashtra region in Rajkot, Ambani stressed that this is India's defining decade under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The VGRC was inaugurated by the Prime Minister on Sunday afternoon.
Ambani said, "The world is changing rapidly and the global political situation is bringing new challenges and unexpected ups and downs. But the biggest security for India is that these challenges cannot touch or disturb our people, because India has an invincible security wall named Narendra Modi.'' He also said that the country is not just preparing for the future, but is actively shaping it.
Ambani said, "We from Saurashtra and Kutch are happy that we are taking part in the development and direction that Prime Minister Modi has shown for all of us."
He said that Reliance is committed to making Gujarat the AI leader of India. We are building India's largest AI-ready data center in Jamnagar, with the sole aim of making affordable AI available to every Indian. He said his companies will increase their investment in the state from Rs 3.5 lakh crore to Rs 7 lakh crore in the next five years.
He said, “In Jamnagar, we are building the world's largest integrated clean energy ecosystem, including solar, battery energy storage, green hydrogen, green manure, sustainable aviation fuel and marine fuel and advanced materials. These are not just the industries of the future, but the foundation of India's prosperous tomorrow.
Big change in India's thinking under Modi's leadership: Karan Adani
Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India has made fundamental changes not only from the economic point of view but also in the national thinking. The country has learned the art of long-term thinking, institution building and seeing development as a broader civilizational mission.
Addressing the VGRC, Karan said that Gujarat is a living example of this vision, where ambition and implementation blend. He said Gujarat has become one of the most industrially advanced and globally connected states of India, contributing eight per cent to the country's GDP.
He said that Adani Group is committed to invest Rs 1.50 lakh crore in the Kutch area in the next five years. We will complete our Khewra project and commission its entire 37 GW capacity by 2030. It is the world's largest renewable energy project. He said that we will double our port capacity in Mundra in the next 10 years.
