Alleged in the court that the police is reluctant in bringing the accused to Kolkata along with the security personnel.

The accused in the Beldanga violence were ordered to appear in court for the third time on Thursday. But like the previous two hearings, the accused could not be produced. NIA told the court that no progress is being made in the investigation.
The High Court has to submit a status report and hence, it is necessary to take custody of the accused. In the last hearing, NIA had also accused the state of non-cooperation. This time he argued that he did not trust the state police. NIA informed that as soon as the court order is received, it is ready to bring the accused from Baharampur jail to Kolkata along with the Central Security Force.
