The accused had recently sent two youths to Cambodia, where they beat them up, gave them electric shocks for refusing to do anti-India work and released them after extorting around Rs 10 lakh. This gang has so far committed fraud of Rs 50 crore. It has been learned that 15 people from Muzaffarnagar alone are in Cambodia, who have been lured into the quagmire of cyber crime by luring them with jobs.

SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma said in a press conference at the Police Line Auditorium on Thursday afternoon that Cyber ​​​​Crime Police Station arrested Aas Mohammad alias Ashu resident of village Tavali and Javed resident of village Khataula police station Shahpur. His companion Anwar Ahmed Ansari, resident of Mohalla Rahmatnagar Muzaffarnagar, is absconding.

These people are scoundrels of the international human trafficking gang who send people to Cambodia on the pretext of lucrative jobs abroad and push them into cyber crimes there. These people lure and send unemployed youth to Cambodia, confiscate their passports there and force Indian people to commit cyber fraud.

Accused Aas Mohammad told that he started working as a travel agent in July 2025. Work was done to send youth abroad through Asia Power and M Ghee Wala. Through these, till now six persons have been sent to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Dubai.

Wasim and Moeen were sent to Cambodia on December 20 through Anwar Ansari. When he harassed them there, he extorted money from the relatives of the victims and gave it to Anwar Ansari. On December 26, Anwar Ansari went to Cambodia to bring back the victims. Moin and Wasim returned to their home on 10 January.
