Taking cognizance of the complaint of BJP leader Ankit Anand, Registrar of the Commission Rajesh Kumar Singh has issued strict instructions. Several major schools in the city have been explicitly named in the case, including:

It has been alleged in the complaint that these institutions are acting arbitrarily under the guise of minority status. Serious allegations have also been made of manipulation in the software-based nomination process due to political and union pressure.

Questions raised on security and eligibility

The Commission has expressed concern not only over enrollment but also over the safety of children and the quality of education. According to the report, many schools employ teachers who lack the necessary educational qualifications and training.

Police verification of staff and teachers in schools has not been done, which is directly playing with the safety of innocent children.
