Orders to register FIR on negligence during SIR in Ghaziabad.
Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. Orders have been given to register an FIR against three BLOs for dereliction of duty during the Special Intensive Review (SIR) operation. All the three mentioned are women BLOs, out of which one is an assistant teacher, one is an instructor and one is Shiksha Mitra.
The SIR campaign is continuing till 6th February, for which the administrative staff is busy in completing it safely. City Magistrate Dr. Santosh Upadhyay said that BLO Shashikant posted at the composite school Sudamapuri polling place, BLO Rekha of Lilavati Public School Pratap Vihar and BLO Geeta of Saraswati Shishu Niketan High School Bhimnagar were given the responsibility related to the voter list under the campaign.
The above three did not report for duty, due to which the progress report of their polling stations could not be processed. Taking serious note of the negligence in this important campaign, the City Magistrate has summoned a report from the concerned officials. At the same time, orders were given to register an FIR against the said three BLOs. He said that action will continue against those who are negligent in duty.
Recommendations are being made to reduce duty
The BLOs posted in SIR are getting recommendations from public representatives and ruling leaders to get their duties reduced. At the same time, the election officials are giving up, citing timely completion of the SIR and the orders of the Election Commission. DM Ravindra Kumar Mandar has ordered all BLOs to perform their duty seriously.
