Water and Public Works Minister Pravesh Verma said that the people have elected his government for 5 years, people should wait for a while, work is being done on all the issues, not on the basis of one or two years, work is being done in Delhi on the planning of the last 40, 50 years.
He claimed that Yamuna will be cleaned by 2029. Pollution will also be reduced gradually. Talking on various issues ranging from roads, he said that his government is first working to improve its own systems, while also appealing to the public not to ignore the government's advice. But before that he will talk about improving his arrangements.

Along with this, regarding the construction of roads, it was also made clear that before constructing any major road, a letter will be written to all the agencies asking for information about their plans. If any agency does not provide information and comes to dig the road after six months, then they will not be given permission.
Road will not be allowed to be dug again and again
Along with this, he said that 450 kilometers of roads in Delhi will be made new by March, after which by November 2026, a total of 1000 kilometers of roads in Delhi will have been built. For this, Delhi Government has prepared an action plan.
