Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav.
Jagran correspondent, Gopalganj. Medical College in Gopalganj: RJD has accused the state government and its representatives of conspiring to shelve Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav's dream project Gopalganj Medical College.
RJD District President cum candidate from Barauli Assembly, Dilip Kumar Singh made serious allegations against the government representatives during the press conference on Sunday.
Said that for the last few days, these people have been deliberately taking credit in the name of the medical college. So that the gift given by Tejashwi Yadav to the district comes to an end and a medical college is not built in Gopalganj.
Tejashwi Yadav's dream was to establish a medical college in his home district, realizing which he had announced in 2022 while being the Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister.
As soon as the government changed, this entire plan was put on hold so that Tejashwi's dream project could not be completed. This will not be accepted under any circumstances.
He said that RJD will soon launch a mass movement demanding the construction of medical college in Gopalganj to start as soon as possible, sub-division status to Barauli, shifting of sub-division police office from Sidhwalia to Barauli and stopping of Chhapra Gomtinagar Express at Ratansarai station.
On this occasion, RJD Principal General Secretary Imteyaz Ali Bhutto said that NDA leaders are not at all serious about the proposed medical college in Gopalganj and they are trying to disrupt the development of the district by arguing among themselves.
