'Not everyone's intentions are clear', Lucknow Police and Piramal Finance started initiative regarding cyber security
New Delhi. Lucknow Police and Piramal Finance Limited have launched a cyber security awareness initiative named 'Sabki Niyyat Saaf Nahi Hoti'. Its objective is to protect citizens from the threat of increasing financial cyber fraud.
As digital transactions are increasing, the methods of fraud are also becoming more advanced. The aim of this initiative is to keep the people of Lucknow and the entire country safe by providing them with necessary information and awareness.

The aim of this initiative is to deal with cyber threats and to make people aware so that they remain alert and do not become victims of financial cyber fraud.
Additionally, it aims to provide people with the necessary information and skills to recognize potential cyber risks, take preventive measures, promptly report fraudulent activities, and protect themselves and their loved ones from potential financial loss.
This cyber security campaign will run for 15 days
This awareness campaign will run for 15 days from January 13, 2026 at different places in Lucknow. This will include street plays, social media campaigns, videos, banners, posters and other fun activities to spread the message.
Commenting on the initiative, Arvind Iyer, Chief Marketing Officer, Piramal Finance, said, “As a responsible lending institution, it is our responsibility to protect our customers from cyber fraud as not everyone has pure intentions. We are glad to join hands with Lucknow Cyber Crime Branch to fight the growing menace of cyber fraud.”
Lucknow Police Commissioner Amarendra Kumar Sengar said, "Technology is changing the way citizens get services and manage their finances, but misuse of digital platforms poses real risks. It is important to increase cyber awareness among the people of Lucknow to prevent fraud and build trust in the digital system."
He said that the aim of this initiative is to provide clear, practical guidance to the citizens so that they can take informed decisions online. An informed public is the biggest help in maintaining a safe and responsible digital society.
