Technology Desk, New Delhi. Samsung has launched the latest smartphones of its flagship Galaxy S series. Under this series, the company has launched three smartphones Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company has not changed the design of all three smartphones, they are the same as last year. In the Galaxy S26 series, the company has focused more on performance. Here we are giving you detailed information about the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ smartphones of this series.
Features of Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+
The features and basic specifications of Samsung's Galaxy S26 and S26+ smartphones are similar. There is a difference in the display and battery size of both the smartphones. Samsung has provided Dynamic AMOLED 2X display in both these smartphones, which offers adaptive 120Hz refresh rate (1–120Hz) and Vision Booster technology. Samsung's Galaxy S26 smartphone has a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen and the S26+ model has a 6.7-inch QHD+ display panel.
Samsung has launched both these phones in the global market with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. In India, both these phones have been introduced with Exynos 2600 chipset. Triple rear camera setup is available in both these phones. The phone has a 50MP wide lens, which supports 2x optical quality zoom. Along with this, the phone has a 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto camera lens with 3x optical zoom. Along with this, the phone has a 12 megapixel selfie camera.
These Samsung smartphones will come in 256GB and 512GB storage options with 12GB RAM. Talking about the battery, the S26 will have a 4,300mAh battery and the Plus variant will have a 4,900mAh battery. Along with this, the Plus variant will support 45W charging and the standard S26 will support 25W fast charging. Along with this, both the phones will also have the facility of wireless charging.
Samsung's latest flagship smartphone will run on the company's custom user interface One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Samsung says that these phones will get security and Android updates for 7 years.
Price of Galaxy S26 and S26+
Pre-orders of Samsung's latest Galaxy S26 series have started. The company has launched Samsung Galaxy S26 in India at a starting price of Rs 87,999. Whereas, Galaxy S26+ has been brought at a starting price of Rs 1,19,999. Under the launch offer, the company is offering limited time offer. In this, users who purchase 256 GB will be given a 512 GB variant.
Galaxy S26 series phones have been launched in Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue color options. Along with this, the company has also launched them in Pink Gold and Silver Shadow color options, which can be purchased only from Samsung's official website. Pre-orders of these smartphones have started.
