Digital payment is possible in all the post offices of the district, due to which the postal employees have been freed from the daily hassles related to retail.
Consumers and postal workers are feeling relieved. First the system of making payment through QR code was started and now the system of making payment through POS has also been made.
There is no longer any problem of retail for making payments in all 74 post offices from both the head post offices of the district. Be it parcel, post, postage stamp or post office related work, you can also make payment digitally. After the introduction of payment through QR code, now the facility of Point of Sale (POS) has also been started with State Bank of India.
Since then, the frequently arising problem regarding payment at all post offices has been resolved. Consumers of the Postal Department are also feeling a lot of relief due to the changes made with time.
Rakesh Kumar Aggarwal of Arjun Nagar said that arrangements have been made to make digital payments at betel shops or even puncture repair shops. Neeraj Kumar of Moti Katra said that the digital system started in post offices is definitely proving to be very beneficial.
