Obstacles related to land acquisition of Tajpur-Bakhtiyarpur greenfield bridge project removed

State Bureau, Patna. All obstacles related to land acquisition of Tajpur-Bakhtiyarpur Greenfield Bridge Project were removed. A weekly action plan has been prepared for the project. Work is being done accordingly. This information was given in the review meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit on Monday. Apart from this, North Koel Reservoir and Mandai Weir Scheme were also reviewed.

The Chief Secretary directed that all the projects should be completed within the stipulated time limit. These projects are included in the priority of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister can also inspect them in the near future.

While reviewing the North Koel Reservoir Project, the Chief Secretary said that he himself will review the project by doing a field visit in the next week.

Regarding the Mandai Weir Project, the Chief Secretary said that timely payment to all the tenants should be ensured under any circumstances. He said that any delay in payment affects the work. Therefore the payment process should continue continuously.

In the review meeting, Principal Secretary of Water Resources Department, Santosh Kumar Mall, Principal Secretary of Planning and Development Department, Mayank Varwade, Secretary of Road Construction Department, Pankaj Pal, Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation, Shirat Kapil Ashok, Secretary (Expenditure) of Finance Department, Rachna Patil and representatives of construction agencies, contractors and other senior officers of various departments were present.
