Jagran correspondent Palwal. A speeding trailer hit the motorcycle from behind near Devi Lal Park on National Highway-19. The accident was so horrific that one youth died on the spot, while the other died while being taken to the hospital. After the accident, the accused driver fled leaving the trailer on the spot. Camp police station has registered a case in the matter and started investigation.
In this case, Irshad, a resident of Shaulaka village, has complained that he and his companion Isa were waiting for a ride home after completing their work from Camp Market on Thursday night. Meanwhile, he saw that two youths from his own village, Majlis and Mustaq, were riding a motorcycle and coming down from the flyover towards Hodal.
Then the driver of a trailer coming from Faridabad laden with heavy goods, while driving carelessly and at high speed, hit the bike directly from behind. As soon as the collision occurred, both the youths riding the bike came under the trailer.

After the accident, the accused driver got down from the trailer, but took advantage of the crowd and ran away leaving the vehicle on the spot. With the help of police and local people, Mustaq, trapped between the tires of the trailer, was taken out, but by then he had died. The second injured Majlis was immediately sent to the hospital, but he also died on the way.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Camp Police Station reached the spot and took the dead bodies into their custody and kept them in the mortuary of Palwal Civil Hospital. To clear the jam on the highway due to the accident, the police took the trailer to the roadside with the help of Hydra machine.
