BDO asked for clarification
Communication Associate, Ramgarh (Dumka). Block Development Officer Kamalendra Kumar Sinha conducted a surprise inspection of Primary Health Center Gamharia Haat on Tuesday. During surprise inspection, BDO found many irregularities. A total of nine personnel have been deputed to Primary Health Center Gamhariya Haat.
While checking the attendance register, it was found that the concerned center included AYUSH Medical Officer Dr. Dharmendra Singh, CHO Bharti Gupta, ANM Bitimay Kisku, Shakuntala Kumari, Kanchan Kumari, BHO Vijay Kant Jha, House Keeper Vijendra Kumar and Sulochana Devi.
Unauthorized absence since 22nd January
Vinay Kumar has been deputed as MPW. During inspection, BDO found that ANM Kanchan Kumari and BTmay Kisku were unauthorizedly absent since 22 January. While checking the attendance register, it was found that despite CHO Bharti Gupta being absent on Tuesday 27th January, she had made her attendance a day in advance.
BHW Vijay Kant Jha was also found absent. The Block Development Officer informed the Medical Officer in-charge of the Community Health Center through mobile on the spot and directed to seek clarification from all the concerned personnel.
Don't know where to mark attendance
MPW Vinay Yadav, deputed at the Centre, was not deputed and his name was not in the attendance register, due to which it could not be known where the said employee registered his attendance. On this, the BDO asked the in-charge to give information about the absence statement of the said employee for four months and honorarium payment.
Visiting health center for checkup for 15 days
During the inspection by the BDO, Bharat Rai of Lodhiya village told the BDO that he has been visiting the health center for the last 15 days for investigation. But doctors are not available in the centre.
Let us tell you that it is the responsibility of the Medical Officer in-charge of the Community Health Center to run all the health centers of Ramgarh block properly. But despite this he never conducts surprise inspection of any centre. Due to which the employees posted at the center work as per their own free will.
