Jagran correspondent, Amethi. The government has decided to provide supplemental nutrition to the students with the aim of making the mid-day meal scheme more nutritious and effective. Under this, from next Thursday, children will be given additional nutritional materials along with regular meals in all the primary and upper primary schools of the district.
According to the instructions, every Thursday any one item among peanut chikki, jaggery-sesame or peanut gajak, roasted gram and Ramdana-millet laddu will be distributed to the children.
