Jagran Correspondent, Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people after landing at the helipad at Rashtra Prerna Sthal on Thursday. Reached the grand bronze statues in a golf cart.
PM Modi gazed at the 65-65 feet tall statues. First of all, we paid floral tributes to the bronze statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari and also folded hands in front of the statues. Modi was told that the designs of the statues were prepared by renowned sculptors Ram V Sutar and Maturam.
In the Rashtra Prerna Sthal built in the shape of a lotus flower, a meditation centre, Vipassana centre, yoga center has been built behind the statues, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath informed the Prime Minister about this. The CM told the Prime Minister that the Rashtra Prerna Sthal will also make people healthy. A jogging track of 1.72 kilometers has been built in the campus, so that people from the surrounding areas can stroll here in the morning and evening.
The PM reached the museum from there and after paying floral tributes to the ten feet high statue of Bharat Mata, saw Vande Mataram written on the wall. After watching a three-minute video regarding the museum, we started seeing the corridors of Jan Sangh and BJP, visited Dr. Mukherjee Gallery, Bengal Partition Corridor, Deendayal Gallery and then visited the gallery of former PM Atal to see his life stories.
