Ahead of its launch, the Xiaomi subsidiary has teased the design of the upcoming handset and confirmed its availability. Poco M8 5G teaser released

The design of Poco M8 5G was recently teased by the company in an X post. It has a dual-tone rear panel in black color, with racing-inspired strips on both sides of the phone. There is a square camera island in the middle with rounded corners, a design commonly called a squircle. It is shown to be slightly raised and with carved edges.

The overall design seems to be similar to the rear panel of the Redmi Note 15 5G, which is scheduled to launch on January 6.

The teaser confirms that the upcoming Poco M8 5G will have a 50-megapixel AI camera on the back. Inside the camera island are three different lenses, as well as an LED flash. The power and volume buttons are on the right frame of the phone, which appears to be curved for better ergonomics.

Xiaomi's subsidiary company has also confirmed that after launch, Poco M8 5G will be available for sale in India on Flipkart. The e-commerce giant has created a microsite for its launch, which also teases the racing-stripes inspired design of the upcoming smartphone.

According to previous reports, the Poco M8 5G, along with the rumored Pro variant, may be available in Black, Blue, and dual-tone silver-and-black colors. The standard model has received BIS, NBTC, IMDA and TDRA certifications, indicating that a global launch is imminent.

Poco is expected to start revealing more details about the M8 series in the coming days, including an official launch date for India.
