Five accused in Rohit Shetty's house firing case on 4-day police remand (screengrab ANI)
Digital Desk, New Delhi. Police have detained five people in the case of firing outside the house of film director Rohit Shetty. Mumbai Police presented these accused in the criminal court. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court sent the accused to police custody for four days.
Pune Police has detained five people - Aman Anand, Aditya Dnyaneshwar, Siddharth Deepak, Samarth and Swapnil in connection with the firing incident at the house of Bollywood director Rohit Shetty. Which was presented in the criminal court late at night.
Nothing to do with Bishnoi gang
The accused's lawyer Ajay Dubey said, "The police sought custody from the court and said that they had a hand in the firing incident. The accused do not know what happened. The wanted accused Lonkar was in touch with the mastermind. The bullet was fired by someone else.
The arrested accused are not related to each other, they have been arrested after watching CCTV footage. We are ready to cooperate. After hearing all the arguments, the court granted police custody for four days. The accused have no connection with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang."

Five rounds were fired
According to police, the attackers opened fire on the first floor of a nine-storey building in Mumbai's Juhu area at around 12.45 am on Saturday night. At least five rounds were fired, one of which hit the glass front of a gym inside the building. After the incident, security at Rohit Shetty's house has been increased.
Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility
The gang claimed responsibility for the attack through a social media post. Subsequently, an alleged gangster named Arzoo Bishnoi released an audio message in which he allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack. In the audio clip, the speaker identified himself as Arju Bishnoi and mentioned his associates Shubham Lonkar and Hari Boxer as the ones behind the firing at Shetty's house.
