Police Recovered 38 Cows From 12 Cow Smugglers In Lakhimpur, Smugglers Were Going Towards Sitapur After Filling Them In Four Trolleys.

Samvad Sutra, Isanagar (Lakhimpur). On Sunday morning, police recovered four trolleys filled with cattle near Imalia village located on Sisaiya road. A total of 38 cows were present in these. The police sent the cows to the cow shelter and arrested 11 cow smugglers and sent them challans. This action of the police has created panic among cow smugglers.

Isanagar police station in-charge Nirmal Tiwari said that on Sunday, cow smugglers were illegally taking the cows from Laukahi village to Sitapur in trolleys. On the information of the informer, when the trolleys were cordoned off and searched near Imalia village, 38 cows were found in four trolleys.

What did the station in-charge tell?

The police station in-charge said that all the cattle have been sent to Mahariya Gaushala. A case has been registered and challan has been sent against the accused Rambaksh, Awadhesh Kumar, Harivansh Lal, Pankaj, Hareram, Sadanand, Apnesh, Kamalkishore, Ashish resident of Behra police station Laharpur, Pradeep Kumar resident of Ojhiyapur police station Hargaon, Himanshu Rajvanshi, Dhananjay resident Takiya Sultanpur police station Hargaon under sections of Cow Protection Act etc. who were carrying these cows.

From where everyone was sent to jail. This action of the police has created panic among the cattle smugglers. There is resentment among the local people regarding cow smugglers. The villagers say that strictest action should be taken against all of them.
