Samvad Sutra, Roh (Nawada). Within just 24 hours, the police made a sensational disclosure of the case of rape and murder of a woman in Dangra Badhar, Samharigarh, located in Samraitha village under Roh police station area.
Taking prompt action, the police have arrested the two main accused, while an illegal child has been detained.
Khanti (agricultural equipment) used in the incident has also been recovered. According to the information received, at around 10:30 pm on February 16, Roh police station received information that a woman was murdered and her body was thrown in Badhar of Samraitha village. As soon as the information was received, the local police team reached the spot, cordoned off the area and started investigation.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, the FSL team was also called. Forensic experts closely inspected the crime scene and collected important physical evidence. At the same time, the FSL team also collected samples of blood stains on the clothes of arrested Dilip Yadav.
On the application of the relatives of the deceased, an FIR was registered in police station case number 59/26 dated 17 February under relevant sections of BNS.

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Superintendent of Police Abhinav Dhiman himself inspected the spot. On his instructions, a special research team was formed under the leadership of SDPO Sadar-1. The team was instructed to take immediate action on the basis of technical evidence, mobile location, call details and human intelligence.
The suspects were identified based on scientific research and technical analysis. On February 17 itself, three accused Dilip Yadav, father Jawahar Yadav, village Samraitha and Ramswaroop Rajvanshi, father Late. Musahari Rajvanshi, village Samraitha was arrested.
During interrogation, both of them admitted to carrying out the incident due to a mutual dispute and confessed their involvement. During interrogation, the accused also admitted to rape, although the police is waiting for the post mortem report.
Apart from this, a child in conflict with the law has also been detained, against whom action is being taken under the Juvenile Justice Act.
Police have also recovered the khanti used in the murder. At present, further legal process is going on in the case and other possible aspects are also being thoroughly investigated. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to the incident, while the quick action of the police is also being appreciated.
