SP MLAs sitting on dharna with supporters.
Jagran correspondent, Sambhal. After the dispute between SP and BJP supporters during the nomination for the post of branch representative of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Gram Vikas Bank Limited in Gunnaur, the politics there has started heating up.
On Wednesday, the MLA along with hundreds of workers and supporters sat on a dharna in protest against the assault on Akhilesh Yadav, son of SP MLA Ramkhiladi Yadav, there on Tuesday. Their demand is that action should be taken against those who attacked and the two candidates from their camp are Yogendra and Mamta.
There should be no fraud in nomination investigation.
The SP MLA said that there should not be any fraud in his nomination investigation. Accusing BJP and its people, he said that democracy is being murdered. On the other hand, police is also present at the spot for security reasons.
