State Bureau, Patna. There are preparations to fill the vacant posts of many commissions in the new financial year 2026-27. At the same time, the General Administration Department has also prepared action plans for various types of training. The recruitment process is also to be carried out on a large scale through various recruitment commissions.
After the formation of Bihar Youth Commission, one chairman, two vice-chairmen and seven members are to be appointed for this commission. This appointment is to be made at the government level. The share of appointments to these posts is to be decided between the ruling coalition.
At the time of assembly elections, the state government had announced the formation of Bihar Youth Commission. At the same time, there is to be appointment to one post of State Information Commissioner in Bihar State Information Commission. In this appointment, the Leader of the Opposition is also consulted about the person concerned.
Appointments will be made soon in the remaining commissions also
A Chairman and a Member (Health Services) are to be appointed in Bihar Technical Service Commission. Through this commission, work related to technical services is done. Two members are to be appointed in the State Commission for Backward Classes.
The post of one member is also vacant in Bihar Public Service Commission. The process of appointment to this post is to be completed in the new financial year. One member is also to be appointed in the Scheduled Caste Commission. A chairman and two members are also to be appointed in the Bihar Lokayukta Institute.
Many appointments based on competitive examination
Along with appointment to vacant posts in the commissions, appointments are also to be made at many places on the basis of competitive examination. On the basis of 33rd Bihar Judicial Services Competitive Examination, the process of appointment to 173 posts of Bihar Civil Judge (Junior Category) is going on.
Bihar Staff Selection Commission is to conduct examination for appointment to 31924 posts. Bihar Public Service Commission is to conduct examination for appointment to 18112 posts of various categories. Bihar Technical Service Commission has set a target of sending recommendations for appointment to 43315 posts.
Training programs will also be organized
Along with new appointments in the commissions, several training programs are also to be conducted under the supervision of the General Administration Department in the new financial year. 400 training programs will be organized by Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD) in the financial year 2026-27. Under the skill development program for the unemployed, Bipard has set a target of skill training for one lakh youth.
