Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. Howrah-Dhanbad Rail Servic: Due to non-interlocking going on at Khana Junction between Dhanbad and Howrah, the rail service on this route remained disrupted on Wednesday. Due to non-interlocking, Howrah bound trains were delayed by hours.
New Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani took 1.25 hours, Sealdah Rajdhani 52 minutes, Coalfield Express 3.25 hours, Mumbai Mail 2.5 hours, Jammu Tawi Express about 2 hours, Black Diamond Express 1 hour and Kalaka-Howrah Netaji Express reached Howrah late by 6 hours 56 minutes. Due to late arrival, trains coming from Howrah to Dhanbad also arrived late.
Trains like Howrah and Sealdah Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Vande Bharat, Black Diamond Express were late. The Coalfield Express, which was supposed to leave in the evening, left Howrah about two and a half hours late and reached Dhanbad late at night. Information was issued that Howrah-Kalka mail will open at 11:55 pm instead of 9:55 pm.
21 memos canceled today and tomorrow due to technical glitch
In the information issued from Eastern Railway, it was told that due to technical obstruction in the ongoing development works at Khana Junction, 21 MEMU trains including Asansol-Bardhaman will remain canceled on 11 and 12 December. Barddhaman-Bokaro MEMU will run from Asansol on 11th and 12th and Bokaro-Bokaro MEMU will reach Asansol on 12th and 13th.
