Jagran correspondent, Rae Bareli. Now the system of one railway one app is going to be implemented on the theme of railways. At present, the UTL mobile app for booking unreserved tickets will be closed by Railways in March 2026. Only Railvan mobile app will work in its place.

This will be the only app that will work for railway services across the country, hence passengers will not have to search for different apps and options for railway facilities or tickets. Railways has even started working on it and has issued instructions to the Commerce Department that in pursuance of the announcement of the Railway Board, from March 1, 2026, the UTS mobile app will be the only authorized mobile application for booking unreserved tickets.

Divisional Railway Manager Sunil Kumar Verma says that now all the facilities will be available to the passengers on the Railvan app, reserved tickets will also be booked from there. In such a situation, the need for any other app will be eliminated.
