Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. When our country became independent in the year 1947, thoughts started on how to take this country forward. Mahatma Gandhi always wanted to take the country forward with the ideology of Ramrajya. Dr. Ram Madhav, President of India Foundation New Delhi said this. He was speaking as the chief guest on the national seminar 'Emergence of Nationalism from Integral Humanism' organized in the Senate Hall of CSJMU on the death anniversary of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay on Wednesday.
He said, after independence, there used to be two big leaders in the country, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi. Jawaharlal Nehru dreamed of creating an independent India by taking the good things contained in the ideology of socialism of European countries and capitalism of the Soviet Union. On the other hand, when Mahatma Gandhi was asked in 1946, he had clearly said that I want to establish Ram Rajya in independent India. We have to create such an India where even the small and weak people are listened to. But shortly after independence, Mahatma Gandhi is assassinated in 1948 and Nehru is the only big leader left in the country. They started building this country on the pattern of socialist and capitalism ideology like the European socialist ideology.
Dr. Ram Madhav said that Nehru moved forward taking what was good in both the ideologies. Today both these ideologies have proved to be failures in the countries where they originated. In such a situation, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay had given the message of establishing the ideology of unitary human philosophy. Today is the time to take it forward.
He said that in both these ideologies, society and people were given material comforts and money but did not get self-respect. There is nothing greater than self-respect and it is not found in both these ideologies because the development that took place in our country was not equal. The world is now aware of the condition of the European ideology and the ideology of the Soviet Union after 70 years. Today he has failed.
Dr. Ram Madhav said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay had said that we should prepare India for its Indian form. He named this ideology Integral Human Philosophy. He had given a speech on the same subject for four consecutive days in 1966. In which he explained the definition of one nation, one nature and what is religion. He had said that India is not just a piece of land or a nation which is reflected in the ideology of the people and their way of living.
On this occasion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's provincial leader Bhavani Bhik Tiwari said that RSS is a new example of this ideology which is burying itself and moving forward taking the ideology of Integral Human Darshan with everyone.
Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Dilip Dubey said that before 1835, the process of education was smooth, after that it was reversed. The British implemented the education system as per their own. We gradually lost the system we had and the result was that we became slaves. Today once again we will have to go back to our pre-1835 education system, only then we can achieve the goal of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's integrated human philosophy. On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sudhir Kumar Awasthi was present and Registrar Rajesh Mishra was present.
