Dialogue partner, Milak. Milak Kotwali police has exposed the Suraj murder case that took place four months ago. Police have arrested two accused of murder. 25-year-old Suraj, resident of Gotiya, village Ramnagar of Kotwali area, was murdered on October 9, 2025. He was attacked on the head with a heavy object. His body was found in a field at a great distance from the village.
The incident report was lodged by the deceased's father Kadheram, in which he accused three brothers Virendra, Har Prakash and Krishnapal. Kotwali in-charge Pushkar Singh is investigating the case. In their investigation, the names of Mansingh, resident of Gotiya, Ramnagar and Yakub, resident of Loha Patti Bholanath, came to light. Both were arrested on Thursday. Both of them told the police during interrogation that both were under the influence of cannabis at the time of the incident. Both of them had hit an iron rod on Suraj's head, due to which he died. Milak: 48-year-old Durga Prasad alias Pappu, resident of village Patiya of Kotwali Milak, was a salesman at a country liquor shop in nearby Agapur village. On Wednesday night he was going home by bike after closing the shop. A vehicle hit his bike near Reliance Petrol Pump on Moradabad Bareilly Highway, due to which he was seriously injured. With the help of passers-by, he was brought to the city's community health center, where doctors declared him dead. Durga Prasad has three children. The shadow of his father was removed from him. On the other hand, Anil, a resident of Panwadiya of Civil Lines area, had gone to Amla in Bareilly on Wednesday evening with his niece's dedication. He died in a road accident there. Rampur: A fire broke out in a room on the upper floor of Hotel Krishna A located in Radha in Civil Lines area sometime on Thursday afternoon. People made noise when smoke came out. On receiving the information, the fire brigade reached the spot and extinguished the fire. Luckily the fire did not spread much, due to which the fire was brought under control quickly. However, there was chaos on the road during this period. Hotel owner Gulshan Arora said that an old sofa and other junk items were kept on the upper floor, which caught fire. When information about the fire was received in time, it was extinguished.
