A young man who came from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh in search of work in Kurukshetra went missing under mysterious circumstances the very next day of reaching Shahabad. Even after 12 days, no trace of the young man has been found, due to which the relatives are in deep shock. Shahabad police station has registered a missing report and started investigation.
In the complaint given to the police, Lakhu, a resident of village Taukli in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, told that his 21-year-old son Anil was earlier living and working in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, his friend Ramu called him and asked him to come to Shahabad. Ramu is also a resident of Bahraich and is said to be a cold storage contractor in Shahabad.
He told Anil about a monthly salary of Rs 27 thousand, accommodation and food facilities. Due to lack of rent money, Ramu also sent the rent to Anil.
Family members made allegations
He told that on January 31, Anil reached Shahabad and went to Ramu's wife, who took him to a cold store located near Jalebi bridge, where information about the work was given. Cold store manager Sunil was also present at that time. It is alleged that Ramu's wife and Sunil fed Anil food and also made him drink liquor.
The very next day Anil suddenly went missing. Anil's mobile phone is said to be with Ramu's wife. When contacted by relatives, Ramu's wife said that Anil was drunk and had sustained injuries when he hit the door.
He said that on the morning of February 1, Anil had left with a motorcycle, which he saw going on CCTV, but later refused to provide the CCTV footage.
The marriage took place 10 months ago
Lakhu told that he searched everywhere with relatives and friends, but Anil was not found anywhere. Anil got married only about 10 months ago. Investigating officer Ramniwas said that a case of missing youth has been registered and investigation has been started. They have also started scanning the CCTV footage.
