Jagran correspondent, Ranchi. A serious case of cheating, dowry harassment and sexual exploitation on the pretext of marriage has come to light in Kanke police station area. In this regard, a girl has filed a complaint against her husband and other in-laws.
In the complaint, the girl said that she met Aman through Facebook in the year 2022. After friendship, Aman promised marriage and had physical relations with the girl even before marriage.
Also, by making an excuse, they cheated him of about Rs 5 to 6 lakh. His ATM card and phone password were also taken fraudulently. The girl alleged that after marriage, her husband and in-laws started torturing her mentally and physically for dowry.
Just a few days after the marriage, he was beaten and thrown out of the house. Apart from this, she has also accused her husband of sexually exploiting three other women and spreading their semi-nude pictures on social media.
The girl told that her husband defrauded her as well as other women of money and made her a victim of sexual exploitation. When he protested against these incidents, he was threatened with death.
The victim collected evidence by talking to the women concerned to confirm the incident. The entire incident is also captured in CCTV. Kanke police station has registered the case and started investigation. Police have said that the allegations will be seriously investigated and legal action will be taken against the culprits.
