CBSE 12th answer sheets will be checked on screen
Education Desk, New Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 12th class board examinations from 17 February to 9 March 2026. More than 17 lakh students will participate in the board examinations. This time the evaluation of 32 crore pages of more than 1 crore copies of all these students will be done onscreen in digital mode.
The copies of all the students appearing in the board examinations will be scanned by CBSE. After this, the teachers will sit in the school lab and check the allotted copies onscreen. During this period, the roll number or name of the students' copies will not be visible, which will maintain transparency. According to the statement given by the CBSE Examination Controller, this will save time and transport expenses in moving crores of copies from here to there. Apart from this, teachers will be able to check the onscreen copies through computers in their school lab itself.
The process will be completed in 7 steps
The scrutiny of onscreen copies by CBSE has been divided into 7 stages. Following are the steps for checking onscreen copies-
No change in class 10th evaluation yet
This time only class 12 copies will be checked onscreen by CBSE. Teachers will check the copies of 10th class in the same way as before.
