Haryana Police fact checked the viral video on social media (symbolic photo)
Jagran correspondent, Kaithal. For the last few days, a video of City Police Station Incharge Inspector Geeta is going viral on social media platforms. Although this video is also about a year old. Inspector Geeta had reached a program organized in a university of the city.
In the viral video, she was telling the students that a serious matter had come before her. A nine year old girl had become pregnant and the girl was carrying her own brother's child. After a year, someone made this video viral on social media and the video started circulating rapidly.
Now on Tuesday, a statement has been issued by DSP Lalit Yadav regarding this matter. DSP said that the video which is going viral on social media was not of Kaithal incident. That incident is being linked to Kaithal on social media. An attempt has been made to poison the society by spreading this false and misleading news.
Those who made the video viral are being investigated and appropriate action will be taken against them. Regarding this, City Police Station in-charge Inspector Geeta said that the incident was not from Kaithal. She cannot give any further information regarding this matter.
