The investigation team has sent a report to higher officials to increase the number of AC coaches in train number 14215-16 Ganga Gomti Express and 14209-10 Lucknow-Prayagraj Intercity Express running through the district. At present there is only one AC coach in both the trains, due to which passengers are facing a lot of problems.
A large number of passengers commute daily from Rae Bareli station towards Lucknow and Prayagraj. Due to the increase in the number of working class, businessmen and students, the demand for seats in AC coaches is continuously increasing. Due to having only one coach, the reservation gets filled quickly and the waiting becomes long.
Passengers are forced to
Many passengers are forced to travel in sleeper or general coach. In his report, the Commercial Inspector, citing the increasing number of passengers and reservation status, has stated the need to install one additional AC coach in both the trains.

This will provide better facilities to the passengers and will also increase the revenue of the Railways. Commercial Inspector DD Shukla says that the report of increasing the number of AC coaches by one in both the trains has been sent to higher officials.
