At the same time, from March 9 to March 23, health teams will go door-to-door to identify suspected patients, so that their treatment can start on time.

Help of Gram Sabha and Panchayat representatives will be taken for awareness. Schools and Anganwadi centers have also been linked to this campaign. There will be quiz competitions among the students and people who have defeated leprosy will be honored and made inspirational examples for the society.

On January 30, there will be special programs to remove misconceptions on Prohibition of Leprosy Day.
