Rinku Singh's Facebook account hacked
PTI, Aligarh. Cricketer Rinku Singh's Facebook ID was hacked by cyber hackers. The monetization amount received from the ID with 1.6 million followers was also grabbed. Rinku Singh's brother has complained to the SSP and registered a case in the cyber police station. Cyber police has started investigation.
For some days, such posts were being made from Rinku Singh's Facebook ID, about which even he was not aware. When Rinku opened the ID with the password, it did not open. Rinku Singh complained about this to the SSP over phone. After this, a case was filed against unknown cyber hackers in the cyber police station on behalf of Rinku's brother Sonu Singh. Rinku is in Mumbai these days. He is part of the T-20 World Cup team.
Monetization in the digital world means making money from content on YouTube, Instagram or websites through advertising, subscription or affiliate marketing. Monetization on major platforms requires meeting specific eligibility criteria.
Statement of SSP of Aligarh
Aligarh SSP Neeraj Jadaun said that Rinku Singh's Facebook ID has been hacked. The money for monetization of that ID is also being diverted. A case has been registered and records have been sought from Meta and Facebook as part of the investigation. Teams have been formed to identify the culprit. After arrest, property acquired from criminal acts will also be confiscated.
