Jagran correspondent, Mathura. Two people died in a tragic road accident at 6 am on Monday in the Chhata area of Mathura. An unknown vehicle hit a scooty at 6 am on Monday above the Govardhan flyover on the Agra-Delhi Highway.
Two people riding the scooter were seriously injured in the accident. Passersby informed 108 ambulance. The ambulance reached the spot, where one person died. The second injured was admitted to CHC, from where he was referred. The second injured also died on the way during referral.
Both the deceased used to work in private canteen.
Umbrella police station in-charge Kamlesh Singh said that the deceased have been identified as Sunny, resident of Tehra Agra and Laik Singh, resident of Humayunpur Rohai police station Shamsabad Agra. Preliminary investigation revealed that both the deceased worked in a private canteen and were returning to their workplace on Scooty after attending a wedding ceremony in Agra. During this time an unknown vehicle hit him, due to which this accident occurred. The police have informed the relatives.
