Samvad Sutra, Ajgaivinath Dham. SDM Vikas Kumar held a meeting with the Executive Officer, Chairman and other officials at the City Council office on Thursday. Before this, NP Executive Officer Krishna Bhushan and Chairman Rajkumar Guddu welcomed him.
In the meeting, the SDM discussed the problems related to the ongoing public welfare work in the city area, implementation of schemes and preparations for the upcoming Shravani Fair.
After the meeting, the Municipal Chairman said that the SDM had an in-depth discussion in the light of the special instructions given by the government. In which major emphasis was laid on the development of Ajgaivinath Dham area and promotion of tourism sector.
The Chairman said that it was decided to send a proposal to the government to start the construction of the proposed ropeway from Ajgaivinath temple hill to Namami Gange Ghat complex via river Ganga.
He said that there was an important discussion on how to provide better facilities to the Kanwariyas coming to the upcoming Shravani Mela.
Brainstorming on making the city completely encroachment free
The Municipal Chairman said that the Revenue Officer was directed to identify the government land for the ESIC hospital and provide the space as soon as possible. SDM held special discussion to make the city encroachment free permanently.
The Chairman said that deep boring will be done for uninterrupted water supply in summer. So that the problem of drinking water does not arise. The work of construction of drain and PCC road is being done in the city area at a cost of Rs. 6 crores. For which it will be published in NIT very soon.
