Emergency landing of flight coming from Bhubaneswar in the field
Jagran correspondent, Rourkela. An India One Air Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft coming from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela made an emergency landing in a field in Jalda Kansar Gadia Toli area at around 1.40 pm on Saturday. A total of 14 people (12 passengers and 2 crew members) were on board the aircraft.
At present, there is no information about any casualty. Information about the position of the plane and emergency landing was given to Rourkela district administration by Kolkata ATC (Air Traffic Control).
Officials have reached the spot and are taking stock of the situation. It has been told that this emergency landing was done due to technical fault in the plane. The local administration and police have cordoned off the plane and tightened security arrangements.

The front wheel of the plane was damaged during landing, while the rear two wheels were said to be safe. A total of six passengers including the pilot and a crew member were injured in the accident. Everyone has been sent to the hospital for first aid.
