The seven-day training program organized for Didi's Sewing Center Scheme under the Jeevika Project concluded with a simple ceremony at the Jeevika office complex in North Madhubani.
The women involved in this training were made aware of the nuances of sewing work, so that they can start their own employment in future. This is being seen as a step towards starting employment with the funds received from the Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana.
BPM Manoj Kumar said that during the training program, information about practical and technical aspects related to tailoring was given by expert trainers at various stages. Jeevika Didis who completed the training were given certificates.

He said that after getting the certificate, women can take loan from the bank and start a sewing center or other self-employment activity. This will not only increase their income, but they will also become financially self-reliant.
Local Mukhiya cum Mukhiya Sangh President Ravi Kumar, present in the program, praised the Jeevika project and said that making women skilled is the strongest foundation for the development of the society.
When women are financially capable, the condition of the entire family and society becomes stronger. He appealed to the sisters undergoing training to make their own identity by adopting self-employment.
During the function, training certificates were distributed among more than three dozen Jeevika Didis. Didis also shared their experiences after the training and said that now they are confident about standing on their own feet and developing a source of income.
Know how to get from ₹10 thousand to ₹2 lakh
Bihar government has started Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana with the aim of making women economically self-reliant. As per the latest situation till December 2025, financial assistance is being provided under this scheme in a phased manner, so that women can start self-employment and increase their income.
Direct assistance of ₹10,000 in the first phase
Under the scheme, the state government is giving an initial assistance of ₹ 10,000 to women associated with Jeevika Self Help Group (SHG). This amount is made available to women to start small scale business.

The government's plan does not end here. If the female beneficiary runs her business successfully for 6 months, then after review, she can also be given additional financial assistance (loan/assistance) up to ₹ 2 lakh, so that she can expand her business.
