Dangerous vehicles running indiscriminately on Moradabad Agra Highway in Chandausi. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Sambhal team. The syndicate of rogue vehicles is operating without any fear in the district. Magic, Tempo and other vehicles carrying passengers illegally are running at intersections from cities to towns, disregarding the rules. The surprising thing is that this game is continuing openly due to the ignorance of the traffic police, police station and transport department. Recovery is done, hence the action against them is also taken into consideration.
The gathering of rickshaw vehicles at the major intersections of Sambhal city has become a common thing. Similarly, the game of fraud is going on openly in Bahjoi town. Chandausi and Gunnaur areas are also dominated by these vehicles. If we talk about the estimated figures, then about 80 to 100 Magic are running in the entire district. Action is also taken but the sedative never ends.
Position of Chandausi Crossroads
15 to 20 Magic trains run from Moradabad Road to Sambhal-Bilari route. Permit is written on them but they do not follow it. The moving magic vehicles are carrying more passengers than their capacity. Apart from this, along with passengers, heavy goods are also being carried, due to which there is a risk of accidents.
The tempos running on Chandausi Road are overloaded and speeding, ignoring the standards. The special thing is that ARTO office is also on this route. The City Magistrate also sits. There is also a traffic police post at the place where passengers are loaded. Still these people ignore the rules.
Chaudhary Sarai intersection status
The movement of heavy vehicles starts near Chaudhary Sarai intersection from around 5 in the morning. The situation is such that many times the errant drivers get into a fight with the roadways bus operators over the issue of boarding the passengers. At the same time, Daggamar buses also load passengers in front of the traffic police near the intersection. The most shocking thing is that this illegal activity is going on near Chaudhary Sarai police post, yet no concrete action is visible. The responsible departments are turning a blind eye. No action is taken against them.
Tempo dominates Bahjoi routes
Bahjoi: The transport system between Bahjoi to Babrala, Islamnagar, Sambhal and Chandausi seems to be completely dependent on Daggamar tempos and e-rickshaws, whereas Magic does not operate on these routes and the tempos that are running are neither regularly registered nor operated in a controlled manner.
The special thing is that along with local, tempos from outside are also running on these routes without any restriction, on which there is no visible impact of checking by the transport department or the police, as a result, the buses which are operating duly by paying tax are not getting passengers and their operation is becoming a loss-making deal.
Daggamar tempos are running on the roads at high speed with more passengers than the standard, which is affecting the traffic system and also putting the safety of the passengers at risk. If timely registration, route determination and strict action is taken, not only illegal operations will be stopped but legitimate bus services will also get their due and road safety will be improved.
Dangerous vehicles running recklessly, putting the lives of passengers at risk
Chandausi: Keeping the safety of passengers at stake, auto and contract vehicles are openly roaming on the roads in the city and surrounding areas. Hundreds of vehicles are plying without any restriction every day from major places like Goods Yard, Badaun Chungi, Moradabad Bypass, Bahjoi Road and Islamnagar intersection. In winter, especially during fog, operation of these vehicles becomes even more dangerous, due to which there is a possibility of a major accident.
The situation is such that overloading has become common. Autos, tempos, e-rickshaws and private buses are being crammed with passengers far beyond their capacity. Many vehicles are running without permits and fitness, while drivers are seen driving carelessly and at high speed. This game of earning money by putting the lives of passengers at risk continues without any fear. The surprising thing is that the presence of traffic police is limited to paper only.
From time to time, action is taken by running campaigns. Just a few days ago, seizure and challan action was taken against small and big dangerous vehicles and this will continue in future also.
- Amitabh Chaturvedi, ARTO, Sambhal
Duggar vehicles operate from four in the morning. However, if we see them standing somewhere, seizure action is taken against them. The rest of the transport department has its authority.
