Russia supported India's multipolar world order.

Digital Desk, New Delhi. Russia has supported India's idea of a multi-polar world order and said that Russia, India and China are the poles of the world, they are maintaining balance by ending the monopoly system in the world. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, Russia has excellent bilateral relations with India and China.

Russia supported India's multipolar world order

Lavrov said this in his press conference regarding the performance of Russian diplomacy in 2025. During this period, he prominently mentioned Russia's special strategic partnership with India. Said, President Vladimir Putin visited India in December to take this partnership to new heights.

It is noteworthy that Putin had made a two-day visit to India in December. In this visit, both the countries have signed an agreement to give new dimensions to their economic partnership in the coming five years.

Lavrov emphasized Russia's relations with India and China

Lavrov described the level of Russia's relations with China as unprecedented. Said, these are so deep that they cannot be imagined.

These relations of Russia with India and China are a symbol of the growing influence of Eurasia in the world. Lavrov said, we need to strengthen and accelerate the concept of Russia-India-China (RIC).

This concept was put on the back burner for several years due to the India-China confrontation in the Galwan Valley in 2020. Therefore there is a need to strengthen this tripartite system. This strength is coming in the form of BRICS.

This organization represents a world with a multipolar system. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are the founding members of BRICS, with Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, UAE and Saudi Arabia also joining later.
