Giving information, Mahmood Alam said that this year the tournament is being organized at Birsa Munda Stadium, Ranchi and it is its 79th year. Before this, Tauheed Ahmed has played Santosh Trophy in Kerala, Assam and Kolkata. Before his selection, the team's trial was held in Nawada on 29th and 30th November. After this 40 players were selected for the camp.
After his brilliant performance in the camp that ran from December 6 to 16, he was given the responsibility of captaining the team and after that the team reached Ranchi. Haveli Kharagpur resident Sunny Kumar Tuddu has been selected for the second time in the Bihar XI football team for the Santosh Trophy. Earlier this was done for Santosh Trophy held in Orissa. Sports lover Mahmood Alam told that Sunny Kumar Tuddu has been playing football since 2016. He played for Eleven Star Athletic Club Jamalpur. Presently he plays for AG Patna team.
