No service across the board will work online during these five days and after five days on January 24, this service will be available again. Jammu and Kashmir Education Board has said that the official website of the board will be temporarily unavailable for five days from January 19, 2026 to January 24. This decision has been taken as part of technical upgradation, which is being done in line with the operational guidelines.
Board officials say that information about the closure of this online service was given to the stakeholders through a public notice. All online services will remain completely suspended during the period of website closure. These specifically include services related to applications for revaluation and photocopies of answer sheets.
The board has appealed for cooperation from students, parents, stakeholders and the general public, saying it regrets the inconvenience caused due to the mandatory shutdown. The Board has clarified that the website and all services will be restored smoothly after the technical work is completed.
The Board says that upgrading the website is mandatory so that this website can be operated in a better way in the future. At present, no information will be issued by the Board. However, a few days ago the board had released the results of the examinations of Kashmir division and winter zone and the datesheet of the examinations to be held in the summer zone.
