Bokaro Tanishq Showroom Robbery: Seven dacoits in police uniform attempted robbery on Sunday evening at the Tanishq showroom located in the city center of Sector-4 police station area of ​​Bokaro district of Jharkhand. A major incident was averted due to the alertness of the showroom staff. As soon as the employees raised the alarm, the armed dacoits fled from the spot without committing any robbery. As soon as the information was received, City DSP Alok Ranjan and other police officers reached the spot and started investigation. Showroom manager Anil Kumar said that at around 4 pm, five youths entered the showroom, out of which two were in police uniform. Describing himself as a Special Task Force (STF) personnel, he said that he had come to conduct a security audit. He asked to check the alarm system, fire fighting equipment and other security arrangements installed in the showroom. He also said that incidents of robbery and robbery have increased in recent times. According to Anil Kumar, the uniformed youth showed some photographs and asked all the employees to gather at one place. He claimed that the photographs were of old dacoits and the employees should identify them and tell whether they had ever come as customers or not. The manager refused to give information without identity card and asked to talk to the local police station in-charge. Meanwhile, two other youths wearing masks at the gate started entering the showroom. Raghu Mahato, the armed guard posted there, stopped him and asked him to remove his mask, due to which an altercation broke out. Then a dacoit pulled the guard inside and snatched his gun at gunpoint. After this, all the dacoits present inside took out their pistols and scared about 30 employees and two dozen customers and asked them to hand over jewelery and cash. Meanwhile, one employee showed courage and raised the alarm. As soon as they heard the sound of the alarm, all the dacoits took the guard's gun and ran down from the first floor. The seven dacoits escaped on three Apache bikes parked below and threw down the guard's gun while leaving. The seven dacoits riding on three Apache bikes had come to the Tanishq showroom with the intention of committing robbery. Two of them were in police uniform. He was calling himself a security inspector. When in doubt, the employees asked for identity card and asked to talk to the police station. Meanwhile, he took out a pistol and started scaring the customers and employees. As soon as the alarm was raised, all the dacoits fled.
